TPC Healthcare is Now T2 Technical Services

“T2 continues to match up with a loyal core of customers who are looking for old-fashioned partnership with a trusted and reliable service provider.”

After 5 years of independent operation as TPC Healthcare, Schiff Partners, Inc. (parent of TPC Healthcare) is proud to announce the launch of its newly rebranded healthcare business, T2 Technical Services (T2).

Originally launched in 2007 as TPC Healthcare, over the last 5 years the T2 team has built off the innovative work done previously under the umbrella of TPC Systems, the Milford, Connecticut-based systems integrator that served as its incubator. With a sharpened focus on point of care hospital communications technologies that support productivity, life safety, and improved patient satisfaction, the newly relaunched T2 continues to provide design, implementation, training, and on-going support services that allow customers to deliver sophisticated solutions without an overwhelming burden on internal resources. “We are happy to celebrate this five year milestone with the same core team, operations, and high touch philosophy,” says Kenny Schiff T2’s founder and President. “This is an important milestone for us and we are thankful for the longevity of our customer and vendor relationships,”

Under the TPC flag, T2 established itself as an independent service provider specializing in Vocera Communications’ hands-free speech enabled platform, delivering a unique blend of implementation and after market services to hospital customers looking to deploy mobile communications solutions. Branching into other mobile voice solutions, mixing in alarm notification/workflow integration technologies, training and ongoing support, as well a Reporting/Analytics, T2 continues to match up with a loyal core of customers who are looking for old-fashioned partnership with a trusted and reliable service provider.

What’s in a Name?
In addition to signifying the second phase of company evolution, the T2 name is derived from the company’s focus on “quality of life” technology products. As Joe Burke, Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure at Atlanticare noted, “we have Tier 1 (mission critical systems) covered by our own internal teams, but there’s a whole class of other important products within our realm that are really important that don’t fall neatly into our internal competencies. Tier 2 is where you guys come in. By working with users on qualitative issues, you allow us to focus on our primary job, keeping our core systems running.” With help from Joe and other loyal customers the T2 concept was born: a specialty service provider focused on important technologies that need proper care and feeding that organizations can’t properly staff themselves.

Customers like Saint Francis Hospital (Hartford, CT), Norwalk Hospital (Norwalk, CT), Phelps Memorial (Tarrytown, NY), Atlanticare (Atlantic City, NJ), and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA) continue to engage the T2 team as they look to sustain, evolve, and grow their communications technology platforms. Whether working privately or on behalf healthcare technology platform providers like Vocera Communications or Connexall USA, T2’s seasoned team is relied upon for their excellent bedside technology manner, practicality, and their focus on solutions rather than the technology itself.
